Research Frontiers To Present SPD-SmartGlass Technology At The Buildings New York And At The Society Of Vacuum Coaters Events

April 22, 2013. Research Frontiers (Nasdaq: REFR) will present the performance benefits of SPD-Smart architectural and transportation products at the 2013 Buildings New York show being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, NY and at the Society of Vacuum Coaters 2013 Technical Conference being held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.
On April 24 at 1:15 p.m., Gregory M. Sottile, Ph.D., Research Frontiers’ Director of Market Development, and Anthony Branscum, Director of Architectural Sales for Research Frontiers licensee Innovative Glass Corporation, will give a presentation at Buildings New York’s Solutions Center entitled “Retrofitting and Replacing Existing Windows with Smart Windows.” Buildings New York focuses on renovation, restoration and upgrade solutions for owners and managers of existing buildings. The presentation will discuss the use of fast-switching SPD-Smart window products as retrofits and replacements of existing windows and skylights.
At the Society of Vacuum Coaters Technical Conference on April 25 at 1:30 p.m., Greg Sottile will give a presentation entitled “Advances in SPD-Smart Glazing” as part of the conference’s Cleantech Energy Conversion and Related Processes session. The presentation will discuss the many types of fabrications of SPD-Smart products that now are available to customers including SPD-Smart glass and plastic solutions. In addition, the presentation will highlight the growing commercial uses of SPD-SmartGlass technology in the global automotive, aerospace, architectural and marine markets.
